If you’re struggling with coronavirus and the lockdown (shelter at home  policy) you are not alone. Italy was the first epicenter for the coronavirus in Europe and North America and was the first to adopt a nationwide policy of lockdown.

My home is in Italy and on today’s podcast episode I share my tips on how to survive the coronavirus lockdown.

Everything from how to approach your daily routine, thoughts on exercise, food and recipes, how to shelter at home but remain social, the best ways to keep children busy, how you can give a hand to others who are struggling more than you during the lockdown.

Here are some useful links to help get you through the coronavirus lockdown:

    For anyone struggling with addiction.

    Alcoholics Anonymous virtual meetings.
We Connect Recovery helps addicts of all types to stay connected.

Looking for new ways to keep kids busy and entertained?

Audible offers audible book subscriptions free of charge to children during the pandemic.
Download Disney and enjoy these movies with your children.

    Try meditation!

The Calm app has wonderful meditation options for adults and children, plus great meditation all music and sleep stories.

Stay social virtually during the coronavirus pandemic.

Zoom app is an easy to use online educational and social get-together platform.
More platforms for audio and video communication (free) include:
    FaceTime (Apple only).
    Facebook Messenger.
    WhatsApp  .

    Grow something!

    Zucchini

Spring is upon us and nothing is more uplifting during lockdown than growing something!
Start your garden if you have a yard.
If you’re in an apartment grow some herbs indoors. You can order seeds online here.
Or start a mother yeast for bread-baking. Here’s how!

    Cooking tips during the pandemic:

    Make risotto.

    Pumpkin Gorgonzola Risotto

Have a pizza party at home!
