Molo 10 restaurant, Ponte Milvio Rome

Molo 10, Via della Farnesina, 10 - Ponte Milvio

Ponte Milvio has been one of my favorite areas of Rome for decades. Wonderful shops, a great market, tasty eateries. It's a bit off the tourist track adding to its appeal though easily accessible by public transportation or on foot. It's also accessible from the cycling path that runs along the Tiber River.

Seafood is my favorite and Molo 10 is as tasty and creative as it gets. Molo 10 is open for lunch and dinner; I love it at lunch as it's quieter and offers a great end to a morning of market shopping.

Everything is delicious here, but the appetizers are my favorite. The tonno porchettato in agrodolce is outstanding.

A must try: Deep fried shrimp and julienned zucchini.

Also delicious are the fried calamari...

Not to mention the baccalร ...

Paccheri is my favorite pasta; perfect for scooping up this fresh tomato and scorpionfish sauce.

Chocolate dessert always has my attention! This mouthwatering flourless dark chocolate cake with freshly whipped cream and sprinkled with ground pistachio was amazing.

Cheesecake in a cup, atop crumbled biscotti and covered with a blended persimmon sauce, berries and mint.

Chocolate chip cookies with a pastry cream sauce: it makes your dessert choice difficult! Get them all and share!
