The Colors of Mallorca

This past month I’ve spent the bulk of my time strolling through the streets of Palma, enjoying the colors of Mallorca, the winding streets, the unique building facades. Mallorcans love color and paint window shutters, doors, and the buildings themselves in bright and bold colors. Each and every one is unique, and it’s the exploration and discovery of the colors and unusual facades, with a backdrop of an explosively blue sky and brilliant sunshine, that I love the most about Palma.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Palma’s many street artists, and painter Joan Miró who lived many years in Palma, mirror the Mallorcan love for bold and beautiful colors of Mallorca.
